Bio
Bill Guy
was born in Canton, Ohio and is now a Chicago-based photographer. In the Spring of 2007 he received his MFA from Columbia College Chicago. His work is in the permanent collections of the Cleveland Clinic, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, along with other private collections. In the Fall of 2008, he participated in his first major exhibition, titled Public Spaces Private Moments, which was held at Dominican University. During the summer of 2009, his series Finding Walden exhibited at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum as part of the museum?s contribution to the one hundred year anniversary of Daniel Burnham?s Plan of Chicago. He is currently an adjunct professor of photography at both Columbia College Chicago and St. Xavier University, as well as a teaching artist at Gallery 37 Center for the Arts’ Advanced Arts Education Program.
